Private Parties

  • Our dining room seats 110 people, the maximum for a sit-down dinner.
  • With 75 people, there is room for a band and an area to dance.
  • We can entertain 150 people for a cocktail party, standing room only.
  • Our patio seats 50, or has standing room for 75 people, weather permitting.
  • Buy-out for the restaurant from Sunday through Thursday is $10,000 for food and beverage, minimum. Service charge and taxes are additional.
  • Buy-out for the restaurant on Friday and Saturday is $12,000 for food and beverage, minimum. service charge and taxes are additional.
  • The service charge for private parties is 20%.

Hours
  • Lunch: Monday through Friday, 11:30am-2: 30 pm.
  • Dinner: Monday through Thursday 5:30pm –9:30pm.
  • Dinner: Friday & Saturday 5:30pm until 10pm.
  • Monday through Friday, the bar opens at 11:30am and is open for drinks and appetizers all afternoon. On Saturday, the bar opens at 5:00pm.
  • The patio is open for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm and for drinks and appetizers all afternoon. Dinner will be served, weather conditions permitting.
  • Live jazz Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7:00-10:00PM
  • The Townhouse is closed on New Years' Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day,
    Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Bio
Townhouse owner and Executive Chef Ellen Hope Rosenberg was born and raised in the Bay Area. She attended cooking school in Paris at La Varenne. She was welcomed in the Los Angeles culinary community and held positions at Michael’s and L’Orangerie before working with Wolfgang Puck at Spago for several years. Ellen started Townhouse Bar and Grill in 1990. She is married to San Francisco developer Douglas Rosenberg and has two daughters.
